Blackpool and Cleveleys sea defence projects required over 1000 tonnes of grade 1.4301 reval stainless steel supplied over 3 years. The project was offered the option to procure all material ahead of schedule and store for the duration of the contract.
This gave a unique opportunity to the project of fixed pricing and guaranteed material supply.
